I am currently setting about writing a VERY simple dashboard winforms application in c#
The main (1st Phase) feature of the dashboard is to total the unrealised profit of open positions I wish to track in realtime.

For example only totally the intraday trades not the long term positional trades.

The Trader then can click a button which will close these open position and take profit.

I have looked at your project and it looks Fantastic - great work!

For what I understand to get access to the list of open positions and details I need just the MT4Integration.dll together with the OFXP.mp4

Could you confirm that I will then be able to get the information I need to build the Dashboard. Once finished and you think its ok I could upload the application as an example application ? Do you have a basic template I could use which could get me started ?

Hey fxdesi,

the MT4 Integration dll passes its data to the MT4 Adapter , and it passes it, trough TCP.IP to the OFxPlatform. The problem is MT4Integration dll runs inside the MT4 Address space, and you can not put .NET code there. So I am guessing you may be better of building a simple expert instead of a brand new application.

I thought that cause the dll deals with all the wcf it would be ideal for me
As then my dashboard could be running on another machine
and not the same machine as MT4 ?

You would suggest I just use a standard EA ?

If you use an EA inside the OFXP, and link to MT4, you can run the OFXP on one machine and the MT4 on another.
